New Reserve Deputy Sheriff Joins CCSO

On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, Eric Wilson officially joined the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff (Reserve). Sheriff Mark Hunter swore Deputy Wilson in at a ceremony attended by the Wilson family and CCSO staff. We would like to welcome Deputy Sheriff Eric Wilson to the CCSO family.

Man Injured after Shooting Incident

On Saturday, March 31, 2012, a Columbia County man suffered a gunshot injury following an argument with neighbors. Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 134 N.E.
