On Monday, Columbia County Task Force agents arrested three Ft. White men for cultivating marijuana.
Multi Jurisdictional Task Force detectives served a search warrant at 613 S.W. Faulkner Drive, Ft. White, FL. Detectives discovered over 40 live marijuana plants growing inside a mobile home on the property. Detectives found specialized lighting and irrigation systems used to cultivate the marijuana.
Detectives arrested Milton Briones and Angel Suarez. Both are being charged with cultivating marijuana.
In a related arrest, Detectives with the Multi Jurisdictional Task Force served a federal arrest warrant on Joel Maytin. While taking Mr. Maytin into custody at his home, Detectives discovered another indoor marijuana growing operation. 200 live marijuana plants were seized in addition to lighting and irrigation systems. The home located at 232 S.W. Beauregard Drive, was nearby the other residence and detectives believe that the two growing operations were related.
