The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office recently joined the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force. The Task Force is a partnership between local law enforcement and the United States Marshals Service. This partnership will allow the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office to track fugitives from justice using the extensive resources of the U.S. Marshals Service.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Detective John Hatcher of CCSO was sworn in as a Task Force member on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Detective Hatcher was sworn in by David Alred, Supervisory Inspector (U.S. Marshal) in Jacksonville, FL.
