Two people were arrested following a search warrant this past Friday, May 31st.
Detectives with the Multi-Jurisdiction Task Force conducted a search warrant at 964 SW Koonville Avenue shortly before 10:00am. The search warrant was executed following an extensive investigation. During the search warrant, a variety of drugs and weapons were recovered. Two people who were at the residence, Justin Hall (27), and Zachary Hill (20), were arrested and charged with various counts of drug trafficking. Hall was also charged with child neglect for allowing a minor child, who was in his care, to be present at the home given the dangerous environment.
Sheriff Mark Hunter stated, “I want to commend the hard work and cooperation between agencies for the successful conclusion of this investigation. Our Task Force is comprised of members from local, state, and federal agencies. Although much of their work is unseen, our continuing relationships with these other agencies plays a vital role in having the necessary resources to conduct complex investigations and produce successful outcomes. This case is a prime example of these partnerships working together to dismantle a large drug operation in our community.”
