Michael Butler and Sheriff Hunter
On Wednesday September 7, 2022 Sheriff Hunter held a swearing in ceremony at the CCSO Operations Center. The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and CCSO employees. Michael Butler was sworn in as a detention officer. He joins CCSO with prior experience from the Florida Department of Corrections. Sheriff Hunter also welcomed back Harry Paul Lee Jr, who was previously employed with us. Both Butler and Lee will be assigned to the Columbia County Detention Facility.
