On Friday evening December 10th, several employees received recognition at the annual CCSO Christmas Party and Awards Ceremony. Sergeant Tim Ball of the School Resource Unit was recognized as this year’s “Deputy of the Year.” James Maulden was recognized as “Detention Officer of the Year.” Yaza Perez received “Detective of the Year.” Nurse Ashley Stalvey of the detention facility was recognized as the “Non-Sworn Employee of the Year.” Mr. Jim Finley received the “Volunteer of the Year” for his dedication to the Citizen Service Unit.
In a statement, Sheriff Mark Hunter said, “This is always a special time of year for us. We have so much to be thankful for, including our great employees. It’s always an honor to recognize our award recipients each year for their hard work and dedication.”
