Detectives continue to investigate a shooting incident which occurred on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. The incident left Dionne Leslie (17years old) dead and another teenager wounded.
This investigation has developed many leads, but has also been hindered by the reluctance of potential witnesses to come forward with information. Detectives are attempting to locate Clayton Hopkins (18 years old) for questioning. Hopkins currently has an active warrant for an unrelated incident. He may be accompanied by another juvenile who detectives would also like to question regarding this incident. Due to statutory restrictions, that subject’s information is being withheld at this time.
