On Friday December 18, 2020, Sheriff Hunter promoted two CCSO employees. Deputy Renee Lents was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and Sergeant Ronnie Daniels was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and CCSO employees. Corporal Lents joined the agency in 2008 and was most recently assigned to the Judicial Division at the courthouse. She will now be a supervisor at the Columbia County Detention Facility. Lieutenant Daniels joined the agency in 2006 and was most recently a shift sergeant at the Detention Facility. He will remain at the Detention Facility as the Administrative Lieutenant. Please join us in congratulating these two on their well-earned promotions!
