On Tuesday, October 3, Sheriff Mark Hunter accepted a plaque and thank you letter from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation for CCSO’s involvement in a statewide sting conducted in June of 2017.
CCSO worked jointly with personnel from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (FDBPR) during the one day sting to highlight the need for the public to use due care when hiring contractors.
The plaque, presented by James Patton, Regional Program Administrator for Division of Regulation, was inscribed “to express our appreciation for your support, dedication, and commitment to protect the Citizens of Florida from the dangers of unlicensed activity”.
Sheriff Mark Hunter said “We are happy to partner with other agencies working toward the common goal of protecting our citizens.”
