On Thursday, March 9, Sheriff Mark Hunter recognized a local couple for their outstanding support to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
In a ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Eunice were presented with the Crystal Star Award from the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches by Sheriff Hunter, accompanied by Bill Frye, President of FSYR. The Eunices were recognized for their enduring support of the Youth Ranches.
All of us at the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank this wonderful couple for their support for the youth of Florida and in particular, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
“Although the Eunices did not seek to be in the spotlight, it’s important to recognize folks that have done great things. “ Sheriff Hunter said, “These special people have donated and supported the Youth Ranches since 1989. It’s impossible to know how many lives have been changed as a direct result of their love and compassion.”
