On Friday, August 15, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches honored three members of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office for their 15 years of continuous giving and support.
Mike Heller, Special Events Manager for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch inducted Captain David Wingate, Detention Deputy Adam Jernigan and Ms. Holly Castagna into the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch Silver Star Society.
The Silver Star Society “was established to acknowledge, with grateful appreciation, those donor friends with consistent and faithful support of our boys and girls”.
Sheriff Mark Hunter presided over the ceremony. In his remarks, he congratulated and thanked the inductees for their “example of selfless giving and support of the Youth Ranches.”
