On Wednesday, February 13, 2103, a Columbia County man was arrested after fleeing deputies on foot. Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Brandon Lee Hodge at 727 SW Buck Ct., Ft. White, FL. When deputies arrived at approximately 8:30 am, Hodge fled the residence on foot.
Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies established a perimeter in the area and began searching for Hodge. K-9 units from the Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Corrections spent approximately three (3) hours tracking Hodge. Hodge was located by deputies and taken into custody near River Rise Park. Hodge was transported to the Columbia County Detention Facility without incident.
