On Friday, August 31, 2012, Deputy Sheriff Rick Damon was promoted to Corporal. At a ceremony attended by family, friends and coworkers, Sheriff Mark Hunter officially recognized Deputy Damon as the newest Corporal at the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Corporal Damon is a two year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office and will be assigned to the Patrol Division.
All of us at the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Corporal Damon on his promotion and we wish him the best of luck in his new supervisory assignment.
