The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is urging all local residents to remain at home today, if at all possible. Road closings, local flooding conditions and other conditions make traveling potentially dangerous today with the potential of additional rain in the forecast.
Do not drive around barricades. They are there to warn of a road hazard. TURN AROUND – DONT DROWN.
In addition, Florida Gateway College has announced that it will be closed today because of flooding on the entrance road to the college.
