On June 5, 2012 Detectives from the Columbia County Multi Jurisdictional Task Force served a search warrant at 168 SE Faye Ln.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team assisted the Task Force in the execution of the search warrant. Upon entry to the home, suspect Christopher Harper resisted when contact was made by SWAT team members. He was placed on the floor and sustained a minor injury to his head. EMS responded and cleared Harper without any medical medical treatment being required.
During the search of the home, a safe was located that contained approximately (5) grams of methamphetamine, several boxes of Psuedoephedrine, methamphetamine smoking devices and other paraphernalia used to produce clandestine methamphetamine.
The Columbia County Multi Jurisdictional Task Force remains steadfast in their efforts to identify and dismantle the manufacturing and supply sources of illegal narcotics in the community.
The MJTF is comprised of detectives from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Lake City Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
