On Thursday, May 10, 2012, detectives with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Columbia County men on drug charges.
On May 10, 2012, at approximately 10:15 pm, CCSO detectives assigned to the Multi Jurisdictional Task Force served a search warrant at 3851 N.W. Archer Rd. Detectives discovered marijuana, prescription medications and a firearm in the home.
Detectives seized approximately 247 grams of marijuana and approximately 16 grams of Oxycodone. A loaded semi automatic handgun was also seized. Further, detectives seized over $5,000.00 in U.S. Currency. Detectives arrested Timothy T. Morgan and Travis Mullins. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
Additional arrests and/or charges are possible as this investigation moves forward.
The Columbia County Multi Jurisdictional Task Force is comprised of detectives from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Lake City Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
