On Monday, March 12, 2012, a Columbia County man was arrested by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office a domestic disturbance.
Deputies were called to a residence located on S.W. Itchetucknee Ave, Ft. White, FL at approximately 4:00 a.m. A resident of the home reported that Donald A. Dohrn, Jr., was acting irrational and was brandishing a firearm. The victim was able to leave the home without incident. Deputies attempted to make contact with Mr. Dohrn but unsuccessful. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Hostage Negotiations Unit were called to the scene for precautionary measures.
At approximately7:45 a.m., SWAT team member entered the home and located Mr. Dohrn asleep inside. Dohrn was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
