Four Columbia County residents were arrested on Thursday afternoon following an undercover narcotics investigation conducted by the Columbia County Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force.
Task Force detectives purchased 73 grams of Oxycodone during the undercover operation. The four suspects delivered the narcotics to undercover detectives and received money in return. The suspects were arrested without incident and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
The four suspects are charged with Trafficking in Oxycodone. The trafficking charges carry a 25 year minimum mandatory prison sentence if convicted.
The Multi Jurisdictional Task Force is comprised of detectives from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Lake City Police Dept, Florida Dept of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
