On Sunday, August 22, 2010, a man robbed a convenience store in Ellisville. At approximately 11:50 p.m., a man entered the Exxon store at 13769 U.S. 441 South. The suspect was armed with a rifle and ordered the clerk to give him the money from the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of money. The clerk observed the suspect flee southbound on U.S. 441 in a green passenger car.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” to 6’1”. The suspect was wearing light colored long pants, white tennis shoes, a brown hooded sweatshirt, and a blue bandanna across is his face.
