On Tuesday, May 4, 2010, the Columbia County Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force served a search warrant at 141 N.E. Montrose Ave, Lake City, FL.
Task Force detectives served the search warrant at approximately 4:50 p.m. Detectives were able to seize marijuana and crack cocaine. The drugs were packaged for sale. Detectives arrested the only occupant of the home, Joseph Anthony Harris, and he was taken into custody without incident. Detectives believe that Mr. Harris was selling drugs from this home, located in a residential area, directly across from a day care center.
Mr. Harris was booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility and is being held on $15,000.00 bond. He is charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Less Than 20 Grams of Marijuana.
The Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force is comprised of detectives from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Lake City Police Dept, FL Dept of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
