On Monday, November 23, 2009, a multi-agency law enforcement operation shut down a North Florida/South Georgia drug trafficking operation following an extended investigation.
Working in conjunction with the Lake City Police Department, the Suwannee County Drug Task Force, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies with the Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force, executed a search warrant in Columbia County. During the course of this lengthy investigation, over 200 grams of cocaine were seized in Suwannee County with an estimated street value of $8,000.00. In total, the investigation resulted in the seizure of over 800 grams of cocaine in the North Florida/South Georgia region. Agents made several arrests in Suwannee County, FL, Leon County, FL and Lowndes County, Georgia.
Task Force Agents in Columbia County are currently seeking Morris “Mo” Terry, date of birth of 12/15/1971. Mr. Terry has active arrest warrants for Trafficking in Cocaine and Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine.
