On June 26, 2025, around 11:30am, deputies were dispatched to Arby’s Restaurant located on Highway 90 West for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals inside the restaurant who had been shot. Three suspects were apprehended moments later following a high-speed vehicle pursuit on I-75. Since the initial incident took place, detectives have been working diligently to determine the following preliminary information.

The suspects in this case have been identified as Anthony Williams-Loscalzo (18yoa), Darion Apiag (20yoa), and David Green (20yoa). All suspects are from Jacksonville, Fl. The suspects drove two vehicles from Jacksonville to Lake City yesterday. One of those vehicles was reported stolen from Jacksonville on June 20, 2025. They came here to target a person who was known to them as a result of an on-going feud. The target of their shooting is an adult with previous ties to Jacksonville. He was currently in Lake City as part of the Department of Corrections’ “Work Release” program, and has been employed with Arby’s. The suspects entered the restaurant and began shooting at their intended target who retreated toward the back of the kitchen area. During this time, a juvenile employee of the restaurant was also struck by one of the bullets. The juvenile victim, who lives in Lake City, was simply attempting to find cover and was an innocent bystander. He had no prior involvement with any of the suspects.

During the pursuit, the suspects threw a firearm and other evidence from the vehicle. A Florida Fish and Wildlife K9 team recovered the suspected firearm this morning (6/27) along I-75 while detectives were searching for any other evidence related to the incident. We express our sincere gratitude to them for their assistance.

All suspects were booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility yesterday afternoon without bond.

We are pleased to report that the innocent juvenile victim was released from the hospital yesterday. We pray for his continued recovery. The other victim remains in the hospital in serious condition. We wish him a full recovery as well. Their identities remain undisclosed.

This reckless crime was committed in a local restaurant during lunch hours in a heavily populated area of our community. This foolish act endangered the lives of those who were simply going about their day. We share the public’s concern for the behavior which was displayed yesterday and want to reassure our citizens that these acts will not go unpunished. We have been, and will continue to work with the State Attorney’s Office to ensure these suspects receive the maximum punishment possible.

Finally, we will not allow these acts to tarnish the overwhelming good within our community. These were transient suspects from out of town who lack the emotional intelligence to peacefully resolve conflict with others. They will be held accountable for this.

We are extremely proud of the efforts of all involved in providing aid to the victims, ensuring a swift capture of the suspects, and the continuing investigative efforts to bring about successful prosecution.

A special thanks to the following:

We also thank our dispatchers at the Columbia County Combined Communications Center for their composure in handling this call and providing is with pertinent and timely information as well.
