We are pleased to announce the promotion of one of our employees. On Monday, September 29, 2025, Sheriff Kitchings held a promotional ceremony which was attended by family, friends, and CCSO personnel. Sergeant Steven Khachigan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and will be assigned to the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force in the Investigations Division. He has served in many capacities with the CCSO since he began his career in July of 2005. Most recently, he has been the agency’s Public Information Officer for the past 5 years. Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant Khachigan on a job well done as we wish him well in his new assignment!
