On Monday, January 5 at approximately 10:00 pm Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to 1205 Sophie Dr. in reference to a report of a person being shot.

On Monday, December 22, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a residence, 300 SE Fawn Glen in Lake City and subsequently arrested a local man on multiple charges relating to internet crimes against children.
