On Friday, August 18, 2023, Sheriff Hunter presented a check to Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches (FSYR) president, Bill Frye. The check was for funds raised from the 12th Annual Fins-and-Pins event which was held back in April. This year’s event raised over $34,000 for the FSYR. Since the event started, it has raised over $355,000 for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches.
“We are so fortunate to have a great resource like the Youth Ranch in such close proximity to us,” Sheriff Hunter stated. “They do great work for our youth, and we always look forward to supporting them through this event. I want to thank our employees for their hard work in organizing this event, and our community for their generosity and participation each year.”
