On Thursday July 15, 2021, Corporal Richard Conger was recognized by the Florida Narcotic Officers’ Association. Conger received the Region II “Officer of the Year” award for his accomplishments while serving on the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force. The ceremony was held in Orlando and was attended by Sheriff Hunter, and other members of the Sheriff’s Office.
In a statement, Sheriff Hunter said, “I’m very proud of Corporal Conger’s accomplishment. This a testament to our employees and the level of professionalism they exhibit in helping to keep our community safe.”
