On Wednesday afternoon May 5, 2021, Sheriff Hunter promoted four members of the agency. The ceremony was attended by a host of family, friends, and CCSO personnel.
Corporal Shane Foote was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was previously assigned as a patrol Corporal, supervising a shift. He will now serve as a watch commander for a patrol shift.
Corporal Josh Green was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was previously a patrol shift supervisor. He will now be the Internal Affairs Inspector.
Deputy Matthew Waddington was promoted to the rank of Corporal. He was assigned to the Patrol Division and will remain in that division as a shift supervisor.
Detective Richard Conger was promoted to the rank of Corporal. He was previously assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division attached to the Drug Task Force. He will now serve as a shift supervisor in the Patrol Division.
