On Wednesday December 23, 2020, a retirement ceremony was held for Corporal Brian Rix. Corporal Rix began his career at the Sheriff’s Office in 1992 as a patrol deputy. He has been a detective, and most recently, he has served as a supervisor in the School Resource Division. He retires after 28 years of service. The ceremony was attended by family and Sheriff’s Office personnel.
In a statement, Sheriff Hunter said, “We thank Corporal Rix for twenty-eight years of being a great employee. He will be missed by not only everyone at CCSO, but by our community as well.”
