On Friday, December 18, 42 students from Eastside Elementary School toured the Sheriff’s Operation Center. The students were made up of the school’s safety patrol and student council.
The tour began with Sheriff Mark Hunter giving an overview of Sheriff’s Office and taking the students questions. The students toured the facility and interacted with CCSO personnel carrying out their day-to-day duties. They received demonstrations on latent print processing and a K9 team working.
Sheriff Mark Hunter said, “We appreciate the partnership we have with the school system and welcome the opportunity for students to interact with our members and learn about the Sheriff’s Office”.
