Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are asking for the public’s help with any information regarding this cold case homicide.
On July 22, 2008, Linda Raulerson was murdered while working at the Joy Food Store located at North US Hwy 441 and I-10. This is now the location of the Sunoco Station. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and upstanding member of our community.
The suspect and an associated vehicle can be seen in the attached store camera photos. The suspect is a black male approximately 5′ 10” to 6′ 1” and the vehicle is a mid-90’s white Buick LeSabre.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office’s tip line at 386-984-2871. This information will be relayed to Detective Sergeant Jennifer Wolf (CCSO) and Special Agent Robert Shotwell (FDLE) who are actively investigating this horrific crime. Up to a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
