On Friday, December 20th, students from Eastside Elementary School toured the Sheriff’s Office Operations Center, seeing firsthand how the Sheriff’s Office personnel perform their various duties.
During the visit, the students, who were made up of the School Safety Patrol and Student Council members were provided an overview of the Sheriff’s Office, talked with detectives and were given a demonstration by two K9 deputies.
Sheriff Hunter met with the students and praised them for their service and commitment to their safety program. He further challenged them to be positive role models and to make good decisions.
