On Sunday, November 17th 2013, at 11:30 p.m. Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a call of a shooting at a residence on 252B North of Troy Road.
Upon arrival Deputies found that Christopher Curry and Michelle Curry had been shot
Preliminary investigation revealed that Christopher Curry and Michelle Curry were involved in a dispute when Michelle retrieved a firearm and shot Christopher twice which resulted in his death. It appears that Michelle then shot herself.
Christopher was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. Michelle was transported to the Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.
The Crime Scene was processed by the CCSO Crime Scene Unit and the investigation is pending the results of the medical examiners investigation.
