On Wednesday, March 27, 2013, a Columbia County man was arrested on narcotics charges following a traffic stop.
At approximately 11:00 pm, Deputy Sheriff Kristopher Kosko stopped a gray Honda passenger car on East Duval St. for a traffic violation. While conducting an interview with the driver, it was found that there narcotics in the car. Deputies discovered crack cocaine, marijuana smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia around the passenger area of the vehicle and under the passenger seat.
Deputies arrested the passenger, David Joyce, on the narcotics charges. David Joyce was transported and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility without incident.
