On Friday, March 1, 2013, Deputy Sheriff Matt Grinstead was promoted to the rank of Corporal. At a ceremony attended by friends, family and coworkers, Deputy Grinstead was promoted by Sheriff Mark Hunter.
Corporal Grinstead will be assigned to Patrol Division of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. We congratulate Corporal Grinstead on his promotion and we wish him the best of luck in his new assignment.
