On Friday, January 25, 2013, two Columbia County Sheriff’s Office employees were promoted by Sheriff Mark Hunter.
In a ceremony attended by family, friends and coworkers, Sheriff Mark Hunter officially promtoed Terrance Tyler and Tocarra Gainer.
Detective Corporal Terrance “Tip” Tyler was promoted to Sergeant. Sergeant Tyler is assigned to the Detective Division and will remain in that Division.
Detention Deputy Tocarra Gainer was promoted to Corporal. Corporal Gainer is assinged to the Columbia County Detention Facility.
We would like to congratulate both Sgt Tyler and Cpl Gainer for their promotions and we wish them success in their new supervisory roles.
