Columbia County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Ft. White High School on Friday, June 17, 2011 to investigate a report of vandalism to the school.
Deputy Joshua McCardle discovered that several windows to the school had been broken. It appears that the suspect (s) paint ball pellets to break the windows. It was also apparent that a firearm was used to cause damage as well. Deputy McCardle recovered bullet fragments from inside a classroom and multiple spent .22 cal shell casings in the area of Stillman Ave and Cook St. damages to the school are estimated to be over $2,000.00.
