On Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at approximately 11:35 p.m., Columbia County Sheriffs Deputies seized a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory at a residence in Columbia County.
An anonymous tip from a concerned citizen led Deputies to the home located at 10015 S.W. CR 240, Lake City, FL. Deputies searched the residence after receiving consent from the homeowner. Deputies discovered materials, chemicals and paraphernalia used in the clandestine manufacture of methamphetamine. The Multi Jurisdictional Task Force assisted the Patrol Deputies with the investigation. Two occupants of the home were arrested without incident and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
