On Thursday, February 25, 2010, at approximately 12:45 p.m. a strong arm robbery occurred at Spires IGA at 2681 NE Bascom Norris Drive.
The suspect approached a cashier and purchased a small item. When the cashier opened the cash register, the suspect reached into the cash drawer and stole an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then fled the store and got into a small silver/gray vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male that appears to be in his late 20’s to late 30’s. He was wearing blue jeans with stains on the lower part of the legs, brown work boots, and a white shirt with a camouflage shirt over it. He was also wearing a green jacket and a dark blue knit cap on his head.
The suspect did not display or indicate that he had a weapon.
